I have come to return all glory to God Almighty.

In February, the beginning of the year, I was laid off from my job but I was told I can be retained as a
casual staff because I was good at my job. I felt bad because I had a lot of plans and didn’t know
how that was going to be possible but I was lucky to be on Employment Insurance for 4months.
Tears ran down my cheek when I was given the news in the office. When I got home, I went down on
my knees immediately and thanked God Almighty for everything because He said in His word, that
we should give Him thanks in all things. I told God this situation will not end in shame, instead it will
turn my life around for good and end with a testimony.
I started applying for jobs and no one was calling. After two months of applying, I was invited for
interviews and I was going for interviews but when I get to the second stage, I would not get any
calls. Everyday, I prayed to God, read His word, ask for mercy, and at the end of my prayers, I thank
Him for the job offer letters He was going to give to me. My Employment Insurance was almost over,
like a month to go but I did not allow that wave my faith in God, I still kept thanking God.
I came to church on Mother’s day and at the end of service when Minister Dare Justified was leading
praises, I danced and did not allow anything to weigh me down at that moment. I praised God like
never before and I also remember Ptej saying praise is what the devil does not want us to do.
That same week on a Friday, I applied for a job and I was called on the Monday morning for an
interview the following week. I went for that interview and prayed before going in, I told God I want it
to be like a discussion.
The interview was like a discussion just as I asked God for. After 3 days I was called by the manager
to say that they will be offering me the job as I was their best candidate. I was so happy for the job;
the pay was more than the one I received in my former job. I gave God all the glory and started
working immediately. I thought God was done with me but that was the beginning of my miracle.
I was called again for another job interview after few weeks and I accepted to attend the interview. I
prayed and seek God face towards the interview. On the day of the interview, I prayed for favor and
the interview went well. A week after the interview, I was given another job offer letter in my career
path, the pay was twice what I am being paid in this new job. God gave me a career breakthrough
and I am here to give him all the praise.
When I look back in just few months, tears of joy ran down my cheek because it was just
unbelievable. God gave me a job before my employment insurance ended, He was on time and He
used this situation to turn my life around and took me higher. I want to thank Ptej and Lady T for
