The word of God does not change, does not lie and does not fail - PTej

I want to thank God for His faithfulness over me and my family. This time last year, I prayed to God that before my next birthday, her birthday was last July,  I wanted our situation to change as we had been expectant, patiently waiting on our relocation to Canada. Our God, who is more than able to do exceedingly and abundantly, answered our prayers.

My family and I arrived in Canada in January this year. We settled in easily to the glory of God, and as expected, the search for a job began towards the end of February. I aggressively started searching around March.

At first, I thought the job search, application, and selection process would be easy for me because searching and applying for jobs for others is something I enjoy and have mastered to some extent. I knew the kind of job I wanted and was deliberate and intentional about my job search and application process. I was only applying for the jobs I saw myself doing and not just any job.

The job search journey was tough, to be honest, but I kept reminding myself of Philippians 1:6. The TPT versions says, “I pray with great faith for you, because I’m fully convinced that the One who began this gracious work in you will faithfully continue the process of maturing you until the unveiling of our Lord Jesus Christ!” NKJV says “He who begun a good work in you will complete it…”

A huge thank you to PTej for giving me the opportunity to access the CAREER CLARITY SESSION FOR IMMIGRANTS. If you would like access to this session as well, please speak to any of our Ministers after service. She continues and says it was a reality session that offered valuable insights and guidance, worth more than a million dollars. The session provided clarity in jump starting my career as a new immigrant in Canada. After the session, I was able to understand how to navigate the Canadian job market and gained many tactics and strategies to land my dream job in Canada. Above all, I was spirit-filled and super confident that I would get my dream job, regardless of whether I had Canadian experience in my field or not, or irrespective of what others thought or said.

Then I aggressively started searching and applying for my kind of job around the middle of March. I followed all the strategies taught, especially on the number of jobs to apply for. In total, I applied for about 20+ jobs and started receiving interview invitations.

One weekend in April, I was in church, and Pastor Toro saw me. She asked how my family was settling in and how the job search process was going. I responded that I was getting interviews, and that I had just had one two days ago. She then asked how it went, and I replied that it went well and that I was trusting God. She then asked, “IS IT THE JOB YOU WANT?” and I replied, “YES, OHHHH.” She then held my hands tightly, so tight, and prayed, saying, “OUR GOD IS MORE THAN ABLE AND HE HAS DONE THIS ONE, YOU WILL GET THE JOB.” In my mind, I thought, “Like seriously, just like that?” Then I shouted, “AMENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN OOHHHHHHH.”

To the glory of God, I GOT MY DREAM JOB within 2 months of listening to the spirit-filled Career Clarity Session. Our God, who is more than able to do abundantly and exceedingly above all that we can hope for, ask or think, did it, Ephesians 3v 20 .

I thank God for His mercy and favor. Big thank you to PTej and Pastor Toro for their words of faith and prayers. To everyone expectant of a new job, I pray that our God will calm your fears and anxieties, open doors of opportunity as you search and apply for jobs, and perfect all that concerns you. AMEN
